It's certainly a nice thought that's for sure. I would love to see Tekkit on the 360. I always enjoyed the various new aspects it adds to the gameplay.

ok so what i have noticed is that mostly the younger people keep this going (12-13) no offence, and i don't want to see this when i open the forums i want to see questions,redstone tips EXC. not people complaining about something that isn't going to happen so i would gladly enjoy it if we could all stop this J4 isnt going to do it just give up they dont have permission for it (dont own the coding for it) so they would have to pay all the modders for the coding, witch they probably wont take it they want to show off there own work.

3)Chances are tekkit isn't copyright so most likely they don't owe the modders any thing.
As much as I wish they could add tekkit as a dlc I see this as highly unlikely due to the fact that they said that in future updates they would drawn inspiration from mods but not actually add them sadly
Things could have changed you know originally all 8 Left 4 Dead survivors were going to be in Skin Pack 2, but we only got the originals.

What part of "we can't just take those" (mods i.e., tekkit) don't you people understand?

Does "add them to the (console) game" mean either as DLC or as a normal part of future update? (Note that "them" is NOT any PC specific mods!) All this is "long term"- there's no sense talking about it now because things are gonna change many months from now... and nothing will happen till 1.2.3 comes out.

they are still thinking of how they're going to add mods in the game but i think its going to be amazing if they added tekkit i wanna play it sooooo bad so i would probably pay 10 15$ for it
Ok iv watched a lot of tekkit videos ( mostly tekkit with Duncan yogscast) on YouTube but I play more minecraft Xbox 360 version just because I think that the feel is a bit more quicker and I have a lot more control over what I'm doing. So I have thought about it and decided that I would shell out 20 dollars or more for a tekkit expansion pack for the Xbox 360 version.think about it...sooo many pipes and factories and destruction catalyst...sooo much cool stuff is in tekkit and I think that it would be absolutely amazing to have that option in the Xbox 360 version.and another thing....I find it very boring to dig for the same things over and over (coal,iron,gold,lapis lazul,and diamonds) and with tekkit you would have all sorts of items to dig for....and also I have the computer version in case anyone was wondering that
Do you even realize how long it would take to port tekkit to the xbox? Just creative and the "adventure" update has taken over a month, never mind a huge mod pack. Don't get me wrong, I would absolutely love it if they did, but I think the chances of it happening are 0 to nothing.
Twenty dollars?! Are you kidding me? Minecraft by itself is 20 dollars. Its not that great of a mod that I could see people paying that much. Don't give them any ideas to start charging 20 dollars for a mod thats free on the PC.

And that is exactly why it would not be added. Tekkit adds industrial machines into the world of minecraft. I may be wrong but minecraft's survival mode(the survival aspect) is about using simple crafting tables and furnaces to survive as well as use medieval weapons and tools to fight dragons and spiders. Theres magic potions and enchantments in vanilla minecraft.(Not on xbox though). Tekkit is using complex machines that do the work for you. Thats not what minecraft is about. You are right "its a whole new game(Lol)". So why would they add an expansion pack that completely changes the game? Jeez I think you guys should just be lucky that you have minecraft on the Xbox.
