Dude you are the definition of why these forums go to hell. You are in the wrong section.
Maybe even the wrong website. Please don't post this trash in the MC360 section EVER again.
There is also a possibility of being able to transfer packs with a flash drive/internet
Jeb is working on a Mod API.
Gotcha MrSpaM! This was on an XBOX thread! I knew I saw it somewhere on XBOX!
What thread was that in? I do recall seeing that somewhere but as I remember it was old and they were talking about the PC version and not the Xbox version. The XBLA license pretty much forbids any sort of moding by the user so this seems very unlikely that they would let the user make changes at this level. I'm not saying impossible, just unlikely..
Now something that I don't see being mentioned is that the group just like the deal between 4J and Mojang. A 3rd party may come along and port some of these mods to the Xbox and make them available ( it's going to be for a cost guys, companies exist to make money) as a DLC. I see that as a more likely possiblity than 4J doing it considering all the work they have laid out before them to get the Xbox version up near the PC version
Another clue to this not being about the Xbox version is the statement that Jeb is working on it since I'm pretty sure that Jeb works for Mojang and not 4J.
Actually, I'd imaging Tekkit for Xbox 360 is possible. I mean, if someone recoded the mods from Java to C++, then you could edit the Xbox game. You could transfer it onto a Flash-drive, then plug it in. Now, before that would happen, someone needs to make a decompiler.
Decompile, re-write, then distribute.
This entire debate is getting out of control. All you guys are doing is arguing
and it's really not getting any where. How about this. We get enough people
to tweet 4J and ask them. Not if tekkit will be avilable, but if a DLC similar
to Tekkit would be possible. Maybe we should just ask if some mods from the
PC will become DLCs or not. And if they cost money or not.
This is just my idea, if you don't like it don't do it.
I just think it's better than bickering back and forth
between people about a silly mod.

I don't care for the arguing ether but the more posts the more people know about the idea and yours which I support but have no twitter account or care to get one.

Okay, lets just have everyone acknowledge that 4j would have to charge something as they are a company and that 4j wouldn't have to
pay **** to the modders cause all they do is screw with 4j's product.

I'd pay $5 for Tekkit, maybe $10-$15 for the whole Technic Launcher (Yogbox, Hack/Mine, etc.). It all depends on what the creators want. Splitting the money between so many mods might be confusing, and I'm sure some of the modders might even offer it for free. 4J can't sell Tekkit without permission from all the modders, so it's very possible it could be free. Skins cost money because they were all created by 4J Studios.

We're all just gonna have to wait and find out, aren't we?
Yup,but we might as well argue while we wait.

Texture packs could be built in or download able.

Since all three are against the TOS, you forgot the first step: go ahead and hire a lawyer, cause that "someone" is gonna need him.
