So i know how to use repeaters! But i have an issue with getting long delays with short pulses! I know i could just make a pulse limiter but how about this setup instead!?
Most of the time i see repeaters daisey chained to make a delay but leaves you with a long pulse too! What if you seperated each repeater with redstone dust? Would that eliminate the long pulse? What if you alternated a 1 tick repeater in with tHe dust?
Redstone dust won't give you any delay. If you want a pulse to travel a long way with as little delay as possible, then put down a redstone torch and lay as much redstone dust as you can leading away from it. As long as the dust is sparking, it's carrying current. When it stops sparking and goes dark, you need a repeater. You can go about 15 blocks without a repeater.
Thats backwards from what i was looking at! Its not a project i am working on any more. It WAS a problem before when i needed a long delay but a short pulse! Those 2 ideas had just popped (and i mean that literally) in my head! The second would actually double the resources and space so a no go!
