I've made hidden doors, hidden stairwells, wheat harvesters, and other kinds of things!
I was wondering what you guys have made with pistons, so I could possibly add something new and useful to my world. Just wondering though.

How many Dragon Ball Z characters does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Just one, but it takes ten episodes.
I'm not very good at making things that are good or creative with pistons, but I've managed to replicate CNBMinecraft's up and down piston elevator on a much larger scale. I use it for my mine, so it's over 50 blocks high as opposed to CNBMinecraft who made his 9 high in his tutorial.
Again, this doesn't really say much for me, but it's the best thing I've done with pistons so far. Actually, the elevator I made doesn't even work right because it always goes directly back up to the top and it pushes you out of it when you're trying to go up with it. Down works fine though. I don't know if that's because of some bug that the Xbox 360 Edition apparently has, but I was rather disappointed when I found out that it doesn't work properly. Sure all I did was follow a tutorial, but I had to make it more than five times larger and I don't have creative mode at my disposal so it really did take quite a bit of time and effort.
Nothing..... I suck at this, I am TRYING to make a "trap door" of sorts at the bottom of my monster trap so I can open the door and allow it to reach bedrock......not going so well.
This is more than a little frustrating/embarassing as I am an Electromechanical Engineer....you would think redstone devices would be right up my alley.
I've made a dark room with a button in it. When the button is pressed, pistons push cobblestone blocks out of the way to reveal Glowstones. Its like a lightswitch. Might change it to a lever and get some sticky pistons to make it an actual light switch.
