It is not a beta. It is the official release of Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. It doesn't matter what it is compared to the PC version, it is the official release for the Xbox. And I am pretty sure I have gotten 25-30 free skins, along with the 8 different Steve skins. We already know we will get getting more free skins with each map pack. I would say that is not too bad.
Actually It is a beta in the menu if you noticed it says " Not Yet Finished" And were in The beta version of Minecraft 1.7.3 But overall I really cant afford a high end computer so yea.. My vote goes to console gaming for the fact that it actually works and i dont really have to set anything up

No kidding. Just the OS and power supply can run you around 200$. So NOW his pc has to be made with 400$. A good video card is gonna consume at least half of that. Anything less is NOT a gaming computer. So now he has 200$ to buy the case, the processor, the monitor, the mouse, the keyboard, any software, the fans, the inputs, the hard drive, any other drives, (dvd being a biggie), proper inputs and god knows what else.
In short, he is full of crap and the only way you can do what he thinks you can is by stealing the OS and harvesting components from other PC's people do not want.
I guess he may have done what I did. I started out just building a custom pc, then upgrading it over time to a full fledged gaming pc. It started out with just what I could afford, the essentials; Windows 7, a 50 dollar case, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, a really shitty GPU, a dual core 3.10 ghz processor, a 400 watt power supply, and a dvd drive. Then, over the course of a year, I've replaced the GPU with a 6870 Radeon 1 Gb, added 4gb of ram, and upgraded the power supply to a 540 watt. All I have left to do is replace the CPU. I now believe my computer can be classified as a gaming pc. I know how to build and slowly upgrade over time, though. If you don't, even a cheap gaming rig is going to cost you.

Where in the menu does it say that? I just looked and didn't find anything. If you are referring to the yellow text, that has nothing to do with us, it was pulled from the PC version. Just likes it sometimes says "secret Friday update". And just because it says "not yet finished" doesn't mean beta. And did you even read what I said? It doesn't matter what the equivalent of the PC version is, WE ARE IN THE OFFICIAL RELEASE of Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition.
I mean really? I went ont he wiki i see villagers, emerald, cauldrens, a crap load of mods, duel weilding its just better than the one on XBLA. Why isn't mojang atleast saying were making it more like it?
Maybe because the Xbox360 version is not as up to date as the PC version? and where did you get duel weilding?!?! Minecraft on the PC doesnt have that feature! and Mojang isnt even make the Xbox360 version.
