I mean really? I went ont he wiki i see villagers, emerald, cauldrens, a crap load of mods, duel weilding its just better than the one on XBLA. Why isn't mojang atleast saying were making it more like it?
...We will be getting everything the PC version has(except maybe not mods). And Mojang doesn't make this version so don't expect to hear anything from them. PC doesn't have duel wielding IN VANILLA.

You are mostly seeing people using player made mods on the PC. The other stuff, actual vanilla minecraft content, are things we are getting over the next 2 updates....likely to be completed by September and December respectively. So, basically, in less than one year we will have updated, equivalent to minecraft PC, what took them years to complete. I would certainly not say PC is better by any means. Larger, for sure, at the moment but thats always something that can be fixed later on.

Some items are being left out of the Xbox edition.

Such as? We won't be getting infinite worlds, but that is more terrain, not an item. We should be getting all the (non-mod) stuff OP listed. As far as I am aware, there has been 0 mention of any items that are going to be left out.

Not true actually,

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
Yes, it is.
4J isn't bringing EVERYTHING from EVERY update to XBLA. It's been stated by them before.
They have not stated that they are leaving items out. If they have, please provide me a link. Of course they aren't bringing everything over, because some of the stuff is PC specific. Like with the 1.3 update we won't get everything in that update because some of the stuff is blending single player with multiplayer, which won't effect us. That doesn't mean they are leaving items out though.

They said that, but they never said they would not add each item. Not like there gonna be like "Oh, this is minecraft XBLA, no redstone lamps!"

ok, Im going to break this down for you. Microsoft's XBox runs its own custom operating system. It is indeed a computer just like any PC, yet it is a much more closed operating system than Windows 7 ,XP, Mac OSX, Linux, etc.(and yes there are many, many MANY more than that) When anything is on what people refer to as PC(personal computer) is is SO much more customizable, and it is easier to do so. On PC we have so many mods that we can apply. We have skins(that we can even make ourselves), we have mods, from Tekket to Yogbox, to SteamCraft and on and on.
The reason people choose consoles is because its easier. You buy it, and it works. With a PC you have to maintain drivers and upgrade hardware and make sure everything is running fine. With Consoles, it auto updates, there are no temporary files to worry about. Games. Just. Work.
Developers have a love/hate relationship with consoles. They love them because they know exactly what hardware they are dealing with. They can write their code for that hardware specifically with results in graphics that seem like they can compete with modern PCs, which....they can't. The Xbox's hardware is EXTREMELY old. Which is why developers hate them. The consoles are holding gaming back graphically. Microsoft and Sony are so determined to get their consoles to stay on the market(read PlayStation 2) they are willing to have their game quality suffer.
The truth is, consoles are bad. Anything on them, is by definition, inferior to a desktop computer simply due to the potential and, in many cases, real quality achieved on the desktop computer.
Now I'm not saying that because I game on PC that I'm better than you. Not at all. I'm simply saying that my hardware is better in every category. If it helps, think of it this way:
Every home has a desktop computer(usually). Why bother with a console($250+) when you can get a really good gaming rig for about $800 total. This is also with Steam which is a free service that sells games for super cheap.
Its all personal opinion saying one is better. Someone might enjoy mods others might not. To bad it can't be as simple as "Yay we get to share this awesome game together."

Because games made 2 years from now might not work on your PC if you don't buy a new video card....but games made for my 360 2 years from now will without any further investment and without the need to deal with configuring my system each time I wanna play a new game.
I gave up on PC gaming once I realized that those 800$ gaming rigs don't actually mean you can play games. It just means its more likely to. I like KNOWING I can play something, and play it without 100 issues just because my vid card just HAPPENED to be the one that had a specific issue with how that game in particular renders something. Screw that, thank you but I'll take console gaming.

That and, for me, a controller is a helluva lot more comfortable to me than a mouse and keyboard.
Truthfully, the only reason I want any games on PC (Mostly just Skyrim and Minecraft) is for mods. All the houses, Cheese for everyone, and all the cool stuff for Skyrim and things like Tekkit, Skyblock and the like with Minecraft.
But eh, since the only benefit for me is mods with PC gaming I'm defenatly picking consoles. Especially since I'll need to get an $800 computer to play with graphics better than a console.
I mean think about it, can you get a gaming computer for the price of a console? I googled "cheap, gaming computers" yesterday (because my birthdays coming up :D) and the new, high end ones are costing like 2k and up there (things like Alienware and the like) and the cheapest I easily found (I only went through like 3 pages) was like 1000 bucks which is a helluva lot more than I'd expect anyway to buy for me, or for me to afford, anytime soon...

The hardware is better, true (or can be true, actually). The main reason I prefer console is because the online gameplay is better, which is especially true for Xbox. I don't have to worry about making a new account for every single game I play. I don't have to ragequit (as often) because I was playing an FPS and a modder saw me through the wall and used an aimbot on my skull region as soon as I stepped around the corner. Most people have mics on XBL and I don't have to download an extra program like Skype or Ventrillo just to talk to the people I'm playing with. Plus, being able to watch YouTube videos from the comfort of your couch is just frickin' sweet. I'm not trying to hate on PC's, I prefer them in most cases as well, I'm just saying there are some things that a console is good for.
