What's an easy way of killing Zombie Pigmen in the nether easily without dying or getting hurt too much? I play on normal mostly and I'm just trying to get cooked porkchops. I also made a mushroom farm but doesn't grow quickly though.
Try to get to an area where there are a few of them. build a walls around you with a gap so you can shoot through with arrows. If there is just 1 of them, just kill them with a sword.
Tbh I just rush in and start swinging my diamond sword lol. It usually works at first cuz there isn't alot of groups but the longer you stay in to kill them the more will appear and attack you in groups. Also bow and arrows like the other posters said especially from high up where you can just pick them off from a safe distance
I built a pigmen farmer of sorts. Its a bunker surrounded by cactus with a gap at their feet and a piston entrance. I just shoot one with an arrow, they flock over to me and die in the cactus barrier. Rinse repeat, 9 chests full of cooked pork.
The best way to kill zombie pigmen that are alone is with a sword.
However since they're usually in packs try either using a bow and arrow or hitting one with a sword then backing off as the pack chases you.

I never die around just pigmen, because they always kindly hand me some food
