I might have found a bug with slimes. When I kill one with a sword, of any kind, they don't split up. If I kill a slime with punches, or with a bow, they split. This isn't normal, is it?
You can kill the large slimes by punching them, it's just hard to hit the right spot, it's like it has the same area that takes damage as a medium slime would have. Another easy way is to light the ground infront of it on fire.

with a sword you're doing too much damage so they're dying instantly instead of splitting.
