Creepers are awesome! Well, that's my opinion. I like to play survival, so, for me, there wouln't be much of a point in playing if there wasn't an enemy that pose a real threat. Still, I think I can see your point. It really sucks to leave your shelter and hear the "sssssssssss" coming out of nowhere, only to turn and see the explosion in your nose, and half your house destroyed. But I enjoy that "fuuuuuuuuuuuu" moment. It makes me more careful of how I play and what I build.
Just a personal opinion, of course.

You Can Pause/exit/ and switch.... although you get the same result as being blown up by a creeper Loss of items and a do over..... Thus a smiley and the comment "same result"!!!! Sorry If I was a bit confusing with my unfunny joke.... My apologies but, I stand by crafting a bow and keeping your distance when possible. Good Luck out there, Try not to get Blown UP!!!!!! I think the sheer number of creepers is ridiculous.... and the Zombie hit box is crap..... JMHO. Be safe!!!!

Yes, i have to agree, The amount of creepers do suck, At least for me. Where there is 1....Most likely 5 more around somewhere close,lol

Starting a new world just suck's! And i get board and start new ones for no reason. Just to board i guess!

The game is taking to long to update, Can't blame them though, It is a big one!

Right, but at the same time they had mods and texture pack's to make up for it. That is if the had them way back then, I never played the PC version...... I thought this game was gay and for little kid's But now i play it all the time now, Alone unfortunately because of the griefing problem

I see your point about sprinting would make it easier to kill them.But its gonna come out soon.To me what makes creeperas hard to kill are

1. You cant sprint

2. they move to your left when hissing

3.they move while they explode

But, at the same time thier easier to kill to beacause it only takes 3 hits with stone sword to kill the. (In PC it takes 4)

Also the game wouldnt be fun without them.What other mob would be as destructive as a creeper?

I just wish creepers had a few more seconds before blowing up, even if it meant them having A little more health.

That would be a great trade off IMO.

Creepers only get me when I don't see them coming. I'll be mining something then tssssss...BOOM. What annoys me is when a little lag causes them to blow up something you just built even though you're not close enough to get caught in the blast. >< It's like they know they're not going to be able to hurt you so they just try to **** you off
