I was pondering on what other purpose a cloud can serve. It can look great alongside a pixelated sunset. You can even build directly above or under one for visual effects. Sometimes, though, they can get in the way. i just wish that lingering cloud can go away. A cloud should be a passive mob that you may choose to attack, so long as you can reach and hit its outer white surface. The cloud attacks you by striking lightning. When you **** it off, it starts a blizzard or torrential downpour under that particular cloud block. This can allow for snow to appear in biomes of warmer climates (but I don't think the snow should linger on the ground for very long before melting)
Upon killing it, down come snow balls and feathers. I personally don't feel feathers satisfy so well, since they already come from chickens and zombies. Im not going to make an attempt at deciding its health or how much damage it deals, this is just a rough idea.
Clouds as some sort of collectible resource could be interesting but I don't know what purpose they would really serve. A cloud being just a cloud is fine by me. They are annoying at times and clearing them out would be nice but as mentioned, they will probably just go higher with the build limit anyway.
