so, when i go into my world despite the fact that ive saved, slept in my bed, and have been in the world a million times. I always spawn in the normal spawn area. any suggestions on how to fix it?
Sorry, bro - this is a really bad bug that'll happen everytime. If you're lucky, it won't do that once in a blue moon. Your best bet is to save your world, then Exit Without Saving. Some people have found that to be the easiest fix. If that doesn't help, clear cache and reinstall Minecraft.
Hopefully it'll prevent the bug from doing that in the future.
Have you tried clearing block space above your bed? You need at least 2 blocks of space above your bed (or three including the space the bed occupies)... much like how you "bump" your head and lose health when getting off a cart under a 2-block high ceiling.

Yes, since games are stored via HD or Cloud and doesn't go anywhere unless you physically delete them. I'd suggest saving everything to the Cloud just in case.
