I was hearing that the 1.8 update is supposed to have NPC villages and abandoned mineshafts. Is this true? I thought this was in a later update. If someone could clear this up for me I would really appreciate it
1.8 beta for the PC had NPC villages, abandoned mineshafts, strongholds as well as new armor system, hunger, and other additions.
View the changelog by going into the minecraft launcher for the PC and scroll right to the bottom, and go up to 1.8 by 1 update.
We should be getting everything on this list from 1.7.3 to the sound update: http://www.minecraft...on_history/Beta
Note that while we will have villages, we will NOT have villagers.
