I've been playing Minecraft for a while. I've played the PC version a little before 1.8 I believe, so I've had this feeling before, but not like this. I decided to start a new seed a few days ago, it's really nice, I haven't explored all of it, but it does have it's nice cave systems. Welp, I decided I had enough Iron for armor and a sword, and I had explored the area on Peaceful just to make sure it was worth it. Turned it back to Normal, headed to get some redstone, and place torches. I fall, not remembering if I placed any cobblestone down, it's dark, and I'm on top of a cobblestone that was just placed right above where I saw. I see the heads of 3 creepers, and a zombie. I can do it I can fight them. And nope, just like that I kill one, two, and move around to the side killed the last creeper. The zombie is taken down shortly after. I need lava as well for a future Nether portal. A nice waterfall is nearby, but I go the hard way, and lose all my hearts, except my last one. I head for the surface, and it's just barely night time. Heartbeating I make it home.
Why is it I think there was a mantra along the lines of, "Oh, please God...don't let me run into a skeleton!" LOL
I see it's been one of those MC days for more than just me.

my fear is hearing the bow in an unlit part of a cave with low health or seeing the arrow nearly miss you and you cant see the damn skeleton, I just build a 3 x 3 wall real fast save and leave lmao

If I see a mob in a cave, I'll usually build a wally around it, and try to fight it so they can't touch me.

Skeletons, zombies, spiders ill face them all.
But when I hear the hiss right behind me... I leave a trail of yellow liquid right behind me

Yep, I don't even turn around to find out exactly where it is. Just start running as fast as possible away from it, other mobs be damned!

I really hate is when creepers don't despawn. You know, you got your slimeballs, you want to build the door now so you don't waste time by switching to Peaceful, you're building a 2x2 sticky piston door, you're placing the redstone, placing the redstone torches but a couple of seconds later...
Green thing sees you, green thing hisses, green thing blows up, you blow up.
I have dedicated myself to the martyr with my friends. They do all the digging and holding of the valuables, I go in with my sword and throw myself at creeps and skellys to clear out an area for torches.
I had a moment like that earlier, I have a little multiplayer village going, i ventured out into the wild for one last desperate search for cactus (don't have any on my map, unfortunately) and it got dark sooner than I thought it would be.
Monsters all around, I kept running it out, but skellies got me down to one heart left, it was bad.

Or "PLEAASSSSE NO HISSING"
I almost ran into a spider as well.
And that makes me happy I'm not the only one tonight.

I would have, but I was just focusing on getting to the house.
