more things need to happen with dirt, maybe some mud bricks or some thing cuz there is much dang dirt and nothing to really do with it comment if you have any ideas about dirt
Nothing is going to be done with dirt, and nothing will ever come out of it unless 4J decide to give us something very unexpected (which will make PC players riot). Dirt is fine the way it is, really; it's technically a renewable source that's easy to mine and acts as a well-preserved fallout item in the event of an emergency (clearing lava pathways, getting extra leverage in air, needing that boost to jump over something, a temporary wall against mobs). Just because it isn't aesthetically pleasing doesn't make it practically useless.

Before they try that, they should allow us to combine dyes and sand to make colored glass.
If there is to be ANY custom blocks it BETTER be that one. Not that it's the best idea ever, but it's a well thought idea that they don't even have to think up themselves.

I don't see why so many people throw out the "PC doesnt have it you won't" mentality. It has been said multiple times that x-box edition will get exclusive content and may deviate from the original PC version. Minecraft is a community lead game. If enough people ask for something it would be in their best interest to consider it.

I think more dirt options would be good. In my opinion you cannot have too many options. I would suggest a compressed dirt block. Crafted from 4 dirtblocks to form a compressed block with a slightly better blast resistance than regular dirt. Maybe even make a sculpted dirt block.
I would like a hybrid block. Something that you could combine a sandstone and a stone block to get a design in the block.
i'd like to see more stuff with dirt. i'd also like to see colored glass. **** any pc user that has a holier than thou mentality. if an update that comes to the xbox that fragments the communities then so be it. imma top flight security guard! i'll die for some ****! olololololololololololol

Adobe would be good... a nicer texture & better blast resistance (stone=30, dirt=2.5, so adobe =15?). I could make a reproduction of Chaco Canyon, complete with a.... oh, no, wait. A Kiva is round, lol.
An Egyptian Mastaba would look good in mud brick, and be accurate, too.
