Hi! I just started playing Minecraft a month ago and I really enjoy it, lots and lots of fun. I am however having trouble finding slime. I hollowed out a couple caverns of what I believe are slime eligible chunks (i plugged my world seed number into the slime finding tool I found) but still no slime. I figure there must be something I don't know about slime that you guys probably would know. So...what am I doing wrong?

Try the slime finder there. Apparently it is different than the PC version, so if you used a PC slime finder it won't work.
EDIT: Sorry, didn't watch the video the first time. Slimes do NOT spawn on peaceful.
i dont have xbox 360 ... but on pc if ur difficulty in on peaceful no slime and mobs can spawn .. i think ur problem is ur difficulty ... change it to easy, normal or hard .... good luck ...
I thought I read that on the XBox version that slimes did spawn on peaceful? I mean obviously I could be wrong and you guys know more than I do but maybe there's some bad info floating around, and I swear a buddy of mine got slime and he plays on peaceful too. But...I'll try that, i'm willing to try anything at this point. I'm thinking that I might have used the PC finder too...that would make me mad, WTF am I gonna do with the 10,000+ cobble stone I mined from all these caverns! lol

Slimes don't spawn on peaceful, but there is a bug in the game that if you are playing on another difficulty (say easy) and a slime spawns, if you save and exit the game and switch to peaceful, the slime will still be there.

Just wanted to update...it appears the issue was that I was playing peaceful. I thought slime were supposed to spawn on peaceful but obviously that was bad info. Thanks to those that offered assistance!
