why has 4j studios not created texture packs yet? if an indie game called Total Miner Forge can do it 4j can too.4j has way more money and a way bigger staff but a cheap little indie game can create skins and many texture packs. why is my question. I think I might be the only one to rather have texture packs than custom skins. I could care less what I look like but I care how the game looks because the original texture sucks.

many console gamers loved this game only because minecraft wasn't on the xbox yet. but yeah, the game is very bland and only takes some good aspects of minecraft.
It'll be a bit harder to constantly push out updates for this game texture pack and mod wise. It's unreal to have a console game coming out with updates that aren't standard. Think about it, Minecraft PC Version is easier since mods/codes can be downloaded and installed. Xbox is easier to code then other games sure, but it hasn't been done to such a mainstream game like Minecraft!
Why would you care about texture packs when the game is still in the Beta version? And most of the texture packs for TM were made by the players and added to the game. The reason the creators have made some texture packs and a ton of skins is because they made a mediocre attempt to create a game like Minecraft and left it as that. It's simply a cheap knockoff that doesn't come anywhere close to being as deep as the real MC, it was just an alternative to those that wanting to play MC on the 360. But, now that MCXBLA is actually here, there's no more need for games like this.
I agree with Nose_Job (awesome name, btw) - there are faaaar more important things for 4J to add to MC360 besides texture packs. And to be honest, I don't get that hype about new textures, anyway. The game looks good the way it is. Even when we actually do get texture packs, I very much doubt I will use let alone buy them. Because from what I have seen in countless MC videos, the vast majority of texture packs aren't an actual improvement, IMO. Especially those that try to make the graphics look more detailed/realistic.
