I built a zipper elevator and am making it as slow as possible and I still bug out the stairs and fall to my death everytime minus once when it actualy brought me to the top. I'm waiting for the bug fix patch to scrap it or not but is anyone else having similar problems? Also, this elevator is about 70 blocks tall and is all legitly built on my server.

You cannot build them yet or stuff like this will happen, not till the bug fix in a couple days.

Hopefully it will be fixed in the bug fix update, due no later than next Friday(unless something goes wrong with cert test). I have a working spiral elevator, but I had to slow it down to get it to work properly.
I have a zipper elevator in my world. It works for me pretty well. It does fail to work sometimes, prob lag. Sometimes it works for my friends and sometimes it doesn't. I've found the trick is to step on the pressure plate and take a step to the right, just a little onto the first step w/out the piston. If I do that it works pretty good.
