Some of you have probably already tried this, but for those who haven't I'm putting this out there. Try using your gamertag as a seed. I tried mine and I have to say I'm pretty satisfied with the result. I seem to have every major resource. I quickly found an abundant supply of clay. I've never seen some of the neat features of my gamertag seed in other seeds, but I am pretty new to the game in general.
It's not really super amazing or anything, but if you ever want to create a new world it is worth a try.
For those who have tried this, please share your experiences. I would be interested to find out what happened for others.
When I start my new world in a couple updates I plan on using a nickname for my world seed. I messed around with it in the current world generation and got some cool results, but I really like the world I started out on(random seed) and it seems to have everything in it(except clay).
