Just checking to see if anyone else is dealing with what I am. I have a track set up from house, through a t intersection, to two different places. One is not too low, it only goes to where I make obsidian, but the other is my slime farm (huge room 3 blocks above bedrock). Now, the starts of the tracks have a slanted power rail that has redstone wiring under the block the rail is on, and it works perfectly (and is beautifully hidden) for the house and mine, but the same exact set up doesn't work for my slime farm. It's simply a short wire from a close button to the block under the block the rail is on. Not only is that not working, but I tried setting up a simple combination lock (second one on the advanced mechanisms wiki) and after a complete copy of it, the wiring for the button to the circuit doesn't work. Is anyone else having these issues? Sorry for the wall of text but I spent hours on this issue thinking it was human error.
Alright, sorry, I'm not sure what the problem is but maybe this will work; assuming all three of your powered rails are slanted.
So you must have a powered rail on the first square I highlighted. Since there is a completely normal block under the powered rail instead of redstone wiring, I believe you have to put a redstone torch on the side of that block. Sorry if I did not solve your problem.
Edit: If your problem is the rail after the third block I highlighted, you may need to seperate the redstone. So instead of the redstone connecting directly to the second block I marked, it should connect seperately since each redstone wire uses its own path.
I had this problem too when placing a torch under sloping powered rail.
Here's the key... YOU MUST PLACE THE RAIL FIRST, AND THEN PUT THE TORCH IN PLACE.
If you do it the reverse, some of the powered rail won't light up. I believe it IS still powered tho, but I learned this lesson a few weeks ago myself and found this answer with some research.
I believe this is probably your issue, and it's not intuitive... but if not let us know.

Nah, that has nothing to do with it, I already know about that issue.
Later today I'll make a video to try and show my redstone wiring issue for my combination lock I was trying to set up as well. Side note though, my problem of powered redstone not powering the block above it was also evident for my "track-changer" for my intersection, which led to me having to have redstone simply leading up to it which is not very aesthetically pleasing.
Because the last one (3rd on pic) your dust isnt powering the block the track is on. If your redstone was running into the block on the side (one block down from where it is) it would work. Which could be done with dust going into it or a repeater powering the block like Nose_Job_For_a_Cowboy mentioned

Well I ended up simply putting it against the block the rail is laying against, but I'm just sad that it can't go underneath like my other two. I'm also adamantly concerned about the wiring on my combo lock as well.
It does seem strange that it worked for the other two but not the third with the same setup, did you test it with a dust underneath and a redstone torch next to the wire to power it (just for testing)? I havent had a look at the combo lock, will have a read on what one you were doing now

Why not double invert under the block the rail is on? Then it would be hidden, and it would definitely work. I didn't know that was what you were going for.

why do you ask? My intersection is working fine.
The redstone is hidden under the blocks?

Retired StaffI assume you could put a block where the dust is, and use a repeater behind it to send the pulse through.
