I'm kind of new to Minecraft. I've had the Xbox edition for roughly 2 months now and have done some small scale builds. I'm needing a fairly flat seed to do this. I've read through the seed list and haven't seen anything that appeals to me. Are there any real flat seeds, or would I be better off finding a kinda flat seed and just clear it out?
How large of an area are we talking here? It's not that hard to find a seed with plenty of plains biome. You might have to clear a hill here, or fill up a velley there, but that's just the nature of the game as it stands right now.
I doubt you'll get any flatter than a plain biome. It's best to flatten and terraform yourself or with friends. It sounds like a lot of work, and depending on how large of an area you need it can be, but if you recruit some helpers it should go pretty fast. I know this from personal experience.
