putting in zones. Like in Total miner, you can set up zones where you can't: mine, place blocks, blow up, open chests and so forth. I say this because today I had a friend who yesterday worked on some cool stuff, but today I looked at my house and noticed TNT all over my house, and then found he blew up the spawn area, so he was instantly kicked and unfriended. So had I not caught this I would have saved my map believing he was still building and would still have that gaping hole and all the TNT in my house.
It's a shame that it's necessary. People's sociopathic desires to bring to rubble other's hard work and good times is very sad. Go back to playing CoD or something if that's all you're interested in... geesh.
I dont mind people visiting my world or even using my fields of resources, but you really have to blow up all the hardwork i put into it?!? I still dont know why people feel the need to ruin everything i spend alot of time on i agree with mc_SWOOPY_sf it really is a shame
The ability to add privileges on total miner was great. They should make a whitelist/blacklist type thing were you have to approve of a player before they could build. It would be simple and effective
Yeah I agree, people who do it are pathetic and its really hard to trust people to allow them to build in your world.
I have come to the point where I only play on invite only when I know I am going to save my game, and I dont allow visitors during that period, I have been griefed so many times that this is what I now resort to.
When friends want to visit, I save my progress and then invite them and they are free to do whatever they please because I wont be saving from then on, I only save during time that ive been there alone :).
