Hi guys I have a few questions about general dangers and some misc stuff
1) What are all the ways in which chests can be destroyed (Lava, fire creepers etc) so I can make sure mine very very hard earned stuff is safe from all danger
2) Can lightning only strike the top of blocks or can it also hit blocks from the side (Very important need to make sure my fireproofing (from lightning) of my wood house is 100% secure)
3) This one is random but why does curse own the offical minecraft forums? Are they affiliated with Mojang in any way? I thought I was in the wrong place when I first came here b/c curse through me off.
1. Creepers/TNT can. I don't think they can burn, so lava and fire shouldn't destroy them. I could be wrong though.
2. Lightning can strike the sides, and even underneath structures if there is a gap.
3. Not really sure, I think they just promote this one because they don't have their own forum on their site.
So basicly wooden structures can never be 100% safe. Thats a party pooper. But only creepers/tnt will ruin items inside my chest? dont care about indeff fire on a chest if I can just put it out and all my items are safe
