lol people on the internet are so easily offended by someone being extremely blunt.
People who are blunt in real life garner no less offense than those on the internet. There is a certain level of decorum that is expected when dealing with someone face to face and that should extend to the internet as well. Being blunt can often and easily be considered being rude depending on how the statement is delivered. You can still be blunt without being off-putting.

It's the internet. I really don't care how people perceive me. I'm not going to arue about anything. I just find it's funny that I make one post yesterday, then come back and find that I'm all people have been talking about instead of the topic. It's kind of dumb. Just skip me and get back on topic.

Just because it is the internet doesn't mean that you shouldn't care about how you are perceived. It is a means of communication just like a phone or letter. The added factor of anonymity should not give people an all access pass to be rude. Given how fast information travels and how readily information is available, you never know when or if your actions on some website (be it good or bad) may end up being linked to you in real life.

Can everyone do me a favor here and get back on topic. Mustache_Guy had a point to be made and he made it. No harm at all for expressing his opinion and for most of the conversation he did it respectfully. He has a different point of view that some people might also have, but the majority seem to have decided this is a big enough issue to be pushed into the next update. So lets move on a discuss solutions, problems, and means of getting this to 4J Studios. Thank you
That's the whole point.... Shouldn't cost more than 5 to 10 bucks to mail a piece of paper....... A letter can go worldwide for under 3$ but, the fact they HAVE to sign for Certified Mail is more powerful than any random tweet. Just look at TV for example. 1 letter is worth more than 50,000 viewers...... How do ya think the rating system got started.... Sorry about my little rant here but. I hope all goes well. We shall wait and see!!!!
I guess. We will see what happens in the next few days and maybe I will

I'm kidding. (mostly) I am... just trying to bring some levity back to the thread.
Back on topic though... I'm glad I read this thread. Had I not, I may not have read the "What's New" section BEFORE jumping into the 1.8 update (assuming this doesn't actually get fixed before the next update). I know how I am, and knowing some of the things being added, I would have just wanted to try it all out as fast as possible.
Right now, I'm working on a floating island (this will become relevant to the topic soon). I just got grass up to it via pistons and now animals spawn like crazy. Everywhere. So... to clear space, I kill everything in my path so I can build uninterrupted for awhile. So I'm in the habit of killing animals. And had I gone into the new update with that mentality, I'd have removed ALL animals from my floating island, NEVER to have them spawn up there again and no way to lure them up there afterwards. Hence, I'd have ruined my game unknowingly.
So having this thread brought to my attention saved my current world. Having this information brought to the attention of 4J could save hundreds, if not thousands, of other people's worlds who don't read Minecraft forums and don't instantly delve into the "What's New" section, but just want to play with the new toys.
There is absolutely no harm in telling 4J of a known problem before the next update. At all. And I really don't see the logic in arguing against that. The Xbox version can learn from the mistakes of it's PC ancestor, it doesn't have to repeat them.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Well said. Large problems that are known ahead of time should be avoided. there is no excuse.

This was an acceptable problem in the PC version because of the 31,000,000 x 31,000,000 world size.
But in the Xbox version where the worlds are only about 1,000x1,000 , it's not. Breeding either needs to be implementable in 1.8, or change the animal spawn logic back to the way it was until breeding is added.

Tweet the crap out of them now! This is not an acceptable thing for them to be doing without telling us whether or not the initial problem is corrected. This frustrates me considering this was an error in the past.
WELL IV BEEN TRYIN THAT BUT ALL MY ANIMALS DISAPPEAR IN TIME THE NEXT DAY THEYLL BE GONE!! I HAVE CONFIRMATION FROM NOTCH HIMSELF THEYLL BE ADDING ABILITY TO FEED ANIMALS AND BREED/FARM THEM IN NEXT UPDATE!!!
I really hope at least ONE person at 4J had the brains to realize that animals not respawning after death will be a major problem in a limited Minecraft world. They should at least move breeding up in 1.8 or let animals spawn again until the 1.9 update when breeding is offically implented into Minecraft.

Notch is not involved in minecraft anymore. He was never involved in the xbox one. And i am assuming where you used red is where you lied, because the likelyhood of this being true is the likelyhood of pigs flying

We are now trying to make it so animals respawning will be in the game. If not we raise hell
