That's just a good way to get them to ignore you. If you do nothing but repeat the same thing, over and over and over and over, they'll eventually just stop caring about it and pass over those tweets because they've seen them a million times.
It will become white noise to them and will be tuned out.
All we need is acknowledgement and then the tweets will stop. It is fair in my opinion, but you are probably right on this one

That depends on amount, and time between them. They probably get tons of tweets as it is, so having a large number of them about one topic does help them catch at least one of them. But its only effective if there is adequate spacing between them, as a hundred in row doesn't help them see it if the hundred all happen at exactly the moment they aren't watching their feed. If they get a tweet about it, say, twice a day...once in the morning and once in the afternoon, it would effectively double the odds of it being read.
However, I would advise that, out of respect, you all try and keep tabs on whether or not this gets responded to. Update a thread here or something, make sure you all communicate said response to each other so you don't keep hammering a nail thats already set to wood. I'm not saying it will make them leave such an oversight in out of spite, thats just silly and trite and should be beyond the scope of any professional. But it would, in the very least, allow them to keep a measure of respect for the community here so that we can continue to report things in a professional manner and allow positive communication between us in the future.
I agree with this I don't want to have to make a new world constantly to get more animals. Lighting change was a big thing in 1.8 and they brought it over in 1.7.3 so why can't they do the same with breeding?

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

The moment I have it confirmed it will be on the main post and title. And I agree. Good timing and amount is key
We don't want to flood their Twitter with the same link... "Hmmm, my basements flooded, better add more water..."
That analogy is hardly relevant to the situation.
Its like people writing their state senator for them to veto or support a bill.
This situation is basically the same, The minecraft community showing an over whelming support for an addition that adds so much more depth to an already amazing game!

You are all getting the point of this thread. Hopefully we will be hearing something in a few days.
Just tweeted them. Thanks for warning us about that
It's weird cause there are many minor mistakes that happened in early PC versions and also came over to the Xbox version, I really hope this one does not.
Breeding should be in 1.8 anyway. It's a major function of the game that I find unusual we'll have to wait so long for. It's the same way with enchanting and brewing. Yeah, 1.8 will be exciting as is, but I feel they should have bumped us to 1.0.0 and then onto 1.2.3.
While I agree, I think they are breaking down the sections of update so the sizes will fit into Microsofts rules on how big updates can actually be....I dont know this for certain though and there is a possibility that I could be wrong, this is my assumption.

File size is a large issue, yes. Another large issue is time. See, they are riding high right now from all the sales. They know how large the market is, at this moment, for the game. Too much time between updates could cause players to move over to the PC version, (ones that haven't already been playing it) and that would shorten their market potential with DLC. Its always best to strike while the iron is hot, so to speak, so keeping these updates flowing is also keeping players playing. Which means they will see DLC, and then buy it.
File size restrictions keep the costs of maintaining servers low, while getting updates fast keeps player counts high for DLC sales. Its pretty simple business logic.

That is good to hear. I'll be waiting to see what develops. I hope good news.

My thoughts exactly. You'd think 4J would learn from Mojang's mistakes
Yeah. They are probably aware of it. If they are not, we need to inform them that we want/need it.

HOT HOT HOT! ARRRRRIBA!!!
I strongly support animal breeding in minecraft and wanted the best for this thread
I am excited too. But now we wait for someone to answer the questions we want answered.
Lol give them some time. I am sure it will happen some time this week. Patience is a virtue.
