We need breeding! I'm running out of cows on my world!

Wont the animals despawn

So when will they stop respawning again? Is it this recent bug fix update or the 1.8 update?

Hmm enchanting is far more important in my opinion, because you can get multiple diamonds with the looting enchantment.

Not in this bugfix. If we completely follow the pc version it would be 1.8. I am sure they will do something about it though now that they know about the issue

My understanding the passive mobs no longer respawning will happen in version 1.8.2 aka the next update to MC 360. Meaning you create a world and when you kill a animal it wont come back to that grass block right? Or is it passive mobs per chunk that the 1.8.2 update effects. If its a per block basis then expanding the grassland potentially can spawn more mobs. But if its a per chunk then basically in our miniature size world you would eradicate every species of passive mobs eventually.

Breeding is a long term solution to a major problem for Survival mode. Enchanting is basically just something to kill time. I voted for breeding as my Steve isn't a vegetarian.

I can use a looting III on a chicken and get some meat so.... enhancing.

Yea but after 1.8 they WONT respawn, did you even read the topic? In the full version animals not respawning is not a problem because you can just go to a new part of the map and capture new animals. However, on the limited map of the 360 you will eventually run out of animals no mater what. While i LOVE enchantment, the lack of animals is more of an emergency.

Well, a looting enchantment WOULD resolve my minimal clay problem.

But once you replace it on the ground, it'll only spawn pigs
pigs for days, but swine flu for days too, hahah.

just get a wheat farm going and stop killing animals for 2 months, enchanting is more important, there are other options for food ¬¬
