I'm not a "twitterer", "tweeter" or whatever the kids call it these days, so yes. I always love seeing new stuff on text boxes during the loading screen, informative or not.
* If you're talking about 4J having a news feed off the main menu here, it would be useless. People would still post their update questions, and questions/thoughts about the news feed. Besides, people instantly post anything interesting that 4J tweets now- like (duh) those of us that that feel they just have to know the absolute latest news doesn't constantly refer to 4J's tweets anyway. And why would it be limited to the xbox? Wouldn't the PC and PE versions also demand/deserve their own news feeds?
Isn't this whole forum one big news feed anyway?
* If you're talking about having a new feed in the game menu itself, that would mean that every time you started the game you'd have to wait while the latest news was downloaded. Huh? And how would that work, anyway? (A constantly available, on-demand updating of the game news).
If all 4J is gonna do is spend all their time letting us know whats going on just to satisfy some peoples curiosity, they'll never get any work done.
The "What's New" section under How To Play is all I need.
But that is after the update is released. This feed would tell you of upcoming skin and texture packs as well as major updates in the works before they are implemented.

Many games do this without having to update the game each time. It is a simple change of text that streams across the bottom of the page while connected to live. Call of Duty and Gears of War have it and use it well. Not only is it good for getting news out, it is also simple advertising for upcoming DLC and updates.
Also, PC players generally have to follow a wiki anyway for different crafting recipes which has all the news on it anyway.
Contrary to popular belief... not all 3 MILLION people playing MCXBLA use the forums or go online for news.
I don't think it would really be necessary. Unless, they were to pick and choose the tweets posted, most of them are just responding to the same questions over and over(this is in X update, that is in Y update, No comment on release date). Unless they actually tell us more than they do now, it won't matter. The only thing they could tell us is when the update goes into cert testing. I have already gotten a message in the game about the skin pack(There is new DLC!). I would rather not have a tweet about it also.

It isn't only for Twitter. It is anything they add to the feed.
I guess if they were do do updates like "Animals no longer despawn!", "Swamp biome added!", "Look at this village!" and stuff like that where they talk about what they have finished working on, that could be cool. Something like instead of releasing snapshots, they just tell us what has been worked on.

Yeah, like I said, it's all I need. I hardly use twatter anyway... Scrap that... I don't use twatter.
I like the idea. But I just don't see myself ever using it.
I would love this. I don't see why not have this in the main title screen. Just a little box in the bottom left corner scrolling through the twits. Or if they added a telescreen in game that acted as a tv for the news feeds probably won't happen but would be cool.
im not against it, i just wouldnt use it. for some reason i prefer to dig through here and twitter posts...
I get your point. It would be more of a sub-conscience thing. You would just see it in passing as you went through the main menu and then loaded your map.
Having all the news on updates and stuff in development would be great in the main menu, I think.
Vote and comment!

It wouldn't really be useful having updates like that.

It would be simple to add and not laborious at all.
