Month 3: Title Update
Month 4: ???

We are getting a bug fix update within the next 2-4 weeks. I expect 1.8.2 by late September at the earliest.

They just tweeted the update is in cert testing, so 10 or less days till it man.

yeah i wish it would update faster but that's because i'm an impatient asshole.
realistically though, it won't happen. i expect the 1.8 update in late august-september.
I've heard major updates on the PC breaks the current world.. so far this hasn't happened on the xbox as I am still playing my first world on the day the 360 version came out... anyone know if the hunger bar or any other major updates will make you have to start a new world on the 360?
It would seem like they would have to warn you somehow before you update...

No but if you want new blocks, biomes, villages, ect. then you need to start a new world.
Nothing forces you to change worlds. If you dont want the new features, you can play your map as it stands. Just because you havent explored your map doesnt mean someone else hasnt explored that seed number and its already predefined.
