Ok so everyone always has posts and Youtube videos about the enormous castke they built and can't fill. I'm bored with all that. Has anyone gotten real crazy and done things to to make the game more challenging or random?
Off the top of my head I want to do two things one day, make a big roof that encases the entire world in darkness and have an endless battle with thos filthy mobs, and make a water world. Anyone have any original crazy ideas or have you done any thing real nuts to your world?
Cant cover the entire world actually, way to many resources and time. Water world? Nope. Mods, or download a map that was made entirely water with mods. Just saying.

You could easily cover the entire world with a roof. All you need is a cobblestone generator and time. It isn't impossible, it's just that nobody would want to do it because it would take to long.

Ya I am in the process with a friend to dig a very larg pit to bedrock as well. I also enjoy creating tall tree towers by planting trees on top of trees.

How the heck do you plant trees on top of trees?
The only crazy thing I've done with trees is plant them all next to each other around my house so I can walk on top of them. The animals like the walk all over my trees too... kinda gets annoying.
to plant a tree on top of a tree, I plant a tree climb to the top and put dirt on the top piece of wood and grow trees that way all the way to the sky. right now i have a tree house at the top of one of my towers.
