If you're experiencing weird problems on a semi-regular basis I'd try clearing the cache on your xbox. I'm not sure how much data minecraft puts through there but from working on other games I know this can often help. (Note: You will have to re-download the updates from XBL but it will not change any of your save files.)
no this is the first time it happened. that's why it freaked me out so much because i've never had any problem as far as lag or glitchy stuff in an offline game. hopefully it won't happen again.
actually I got something like that just today. Decided to go wander around exploring my world came across some cati that was floating in the air. Hit it and harvested it. Started to walk again ran right into something that took off 3 hearts.. Saved and exited and reloaded sure enough there was more cati there.
it fixed everything but now a torch is floating. :/ this **** never happens to me so the whole tree incident was pretty trippy.
