I know minecraft on cant be compared to the pc but will it ever look as good? Well me I hope so cause im at a point where I think I should invest in a gaming towerOn xbox..... Sorry

I find that it looks better on my television. Much better, actually.

I found the gaphics to look pretty much the same. Perhaps the render distance is better on pc, but other than that, they seem the same to me.

I know exactly what you mean. I saw a few videos of people playing the PC version on youtube and I quickly became jealous. All I have is an old laptop so I can't really play effectively on the PC. I'm also thinking of investing in a gaming tower, or maybe building one.

A potential reason for this may be that the PC version has updated textures for numerous blocks making them look better. This will come to us in time.

It's made to look like 16bit, it look the same on PC and the xbox. Unless you use a texture pack on the PC then it's going to look better

No, it will never change. EVER. It's Minecraft, take it or leave it.

The regular game looks exactly the same, maybe slightly better on the Xbox because it runs at a constant 720p.

The only way the Pc version looks better is with texture packs and mods. Other than that, they look exactly the same.

Graphics are and always be the same.

If you are comparing it to what you see on youtube it's most likely because they may have Optifine or some other program that allows them to change the color, brightness, contrast to create "better" graphics. You do also need to take into account texture packs as someone else mentioned.

I own both and I honestly prefer the xbox graphics over my laptop, but thats because I'm forced to run with minimum everything to even play the game with my laptop. I don't see the point in building another pc just to play one game, which is why I haven't done so.
