Would having mcedit for MCX3, a.k.a minecraft xbox 360 edition, be a good idea? Here's my reason for being both for and against this. I'd be for it because then people can make maps for everyone to play on, which probably would require to somehow have the world downloadable for everyone. I'd also be against it because then the baddy noobs can cheat and find everything in their worlds. Just a random question for everyone to answer. Happy Minecrafting.
I would like it so I could make a flat world like the PC creative worlds & a little house with every object in near unlimited supply.
I would also like it so I can transfer my house to the same work but restarted so the game fixes are included, as of right now I have my main world with no clay because I can't be arsed restarting from scratch again :@
3rd party software .. Microsoft would ban people for using it so no ..
MS can't & won't ban people based on the use of third party software, if said software unlocked achievements or payed content then yes, as these can be tracked as there MS server side, MC is not & it's would be again the data privacy/protection act for them to take our levels or even snoop, so we're 100% safe.
4J has stated that its possible to add mods to the game as dlc which wouldn't be bannable if they were an expansion. So I would either love for them to add Mcedit as dlc or be able to port PC maps to Xbox but that wouldn't happen. And as for the people who would use it to cheat they're stupid and there's no gain from cheating in Minecraft but what they do with their world is up to them.

it would be nice to have but will probably never happen without people being banned for it
How do we even know the Xbox 360 could handle McEdit? That is something that let's you create and destroy hundreds and thousands of blocks at once. I honestly don't think the Xbox 360 would be able to keep up with that.
Why is every one assuming immediately that it is assumed that its gonna require jailbreaking or 3rd party stuff that would be a bannable offense? 4J stated that mods in the form of dlc is a possibility!
Now Mustache guy said it all! I am skeptical about the 360 handling that much processing power! But non the less i am for mcedit! I havent fount a land scape i liked yet on mc360!
