Is it just that map or all of your worlds? If it's just that save try writing down the seed, and creating a new world with that same seed and see if it does it again.
Usually mobs dont spawn if you have too many wolves nearby. However this shouldn't ACTUALLY affect you're entire map unless you have an insane amount of wolves spread throughout the entire map which Im having trouble seeing you do in 2 days.
Try moving to different areas in the map. You can only have a certain number of peaceful mobs in one area
Whoa whoa whoa, easy buddy. lol it is set up that way so that you don't walk outside to 8000 pigs. Too many mobs would cause the game to crash. Just kill off a few wolves and you will be fine.

In that case, wolves should be classified as another kind of mob. I just don't like the programming, sorry

Okay, I tried what you suggested, I got everyone to move their wolves to the top left corner of the map, I then went to the bottom right corner of the map, which has A LOT of nice grassy area. Still no luck. I guess it stops animals for the whole map.
Im not sure how much truth there is to that i have a total of 24 wolves in an underground city and i still get mobs spawning on the surface, im constantly running into sheep, like 7 at a time, but the seed im using i also found spawned huge mobs all over i remember finding flocks of 10+ sheep at a time but maybe its just my seed
I just made the map 2 days ago..
It's obviously a bug. Is there any fix for it?
Damn that's retarded.. They still let enemies spawn, but no farm animals? Gtfo with this gay programming.
Ty Urban.
