i watch a few lets plays the things that i dont like is when its episode after episode of walking around aimlessly keep it fresh with builds and projects be your self if you start one up let me know and ill come check you out one more thing if you have fun hopefully that will spread to the viewer good luck

Play with your friends. Record. When funny stuff happens, make a montage of those funny moments.
Otherwise, don't. Youtube is chock full of just about every other kind of minecraft video.

With making funny videos you can make some pranks that you can record and show the world your pranks and other things like buildings you have made. Another idea is do a little video and then at the end have a little message saying if anyone has any video requests, you can always start there.
Don't do a let's play unless you feel like you have a HUGE personality.
As already said, Go for a Minecraft 'funtage' type deal i'd say
