Can someone show me or explain how to make a wall, just using water and lava? The videos I find on YouTube seems to not work on the Xbox version. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance?
you could just place cobble stone but if you really want a self building wall go to the tutorial and go to the castle do the same thing but instead of making the cobble stone go across making a bridge make it go up forming a wall
he means pour lava scoop it back up then dump water real fast on the dripping lava coming down from a high place to make cobblestone on the way down ...and ive never tried it sorry couldnt help
I think it would be easier and quicker just to build the wall normally lol.
Not exactly... it'll build a 12x12 wall pretty quick...
...but that's the extent of it, since that's the limit of a piston's ability to push blocks. Then you get to take apart the generator & the 12 pistons pushing upwards... huge pain, and when you add that to the time, yes, it's faster to just build the wall normally.
On the other hand, I've got one of those setups at one of my fortresses, and I just left it in place & running. It's about 5 blocks below ground, so I've got a 7-high wall above ground. If a creeper comes along and blows a hole in the wall, the generator is safe & the wall self-repairs in less than ten seconds. Cool as hell to watch.
