I've been wanting to build a wool structure outside, but It says in the loading screen that lightning can set fire to wool. I just want to know if I build a wool structure will it burn down during a storm. thx in advance
I have a somewhat large modern house with lots of exposed wool. It's been about a month maybe with no incidents. I have a stormy world too, it storms every single time I am on for more than an hour.
For the most part you should be fine. If the lightning hits wool the rain should put it out, unless the fire is underneath and overhang or something where the rain can't get to.

I'm not sure if weather carries over but if it does whats your seed

I made a wool plane and was stupid enough to cover it i=with glass. It got struck by lightning and the rain was blocked. I spent like an hour rebuilding it when it could have been saved without the cover

I have a dozen or so buildings that are either made out of wool or have wool blocks that are pretty high up and exposed to lighting. None of them have been hit yet. Plus like some people mentioned earlier, the rain will almost always immediately put out the fire.

That is because of the entire desert area you have. Desert biomes do not have precipitation, let alone lightning. Yes, I remember things.
How would the lightning hit it then?
