As some of you may know, a dilemma in Minecraft 1.8 was animal persistence. While this is a very cool new feature, 1.8 happened to lack breeding. Once you killed an animal, it was gone and you were one pig/sheep/cow shorter in your area.
Due to the current limited world size, I really hope 4J opts to keep persistent animals out until 1.2.3 in order to avoid the debacle that the PC version had.
What do you think? Do you want persistent animals sooner so that you may make an unbreedable farm (looks cool, at least, especially if you want a pet pig or something) or should they hold it off in order to prevent animal shortages?
It would be nice for chickens, at least that way you can make an egg farm. But I know they won't do it just for 1 animal, so I do hope they hold off until you can breed animals. I guess I can live off of bread until then.
heh I can't get rid of the animals around me. It seems everytime I kill one 4 more spawn. Whats worse is the cows and chickens. talk about obnoxious. Stupid cow walk right up to you and moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo real loud.
OT: Leave animals alone til the mechanics are worked out I say. I like to murder animals that get in my way, I would feel much worse about it if I knew that I lost a source of milk or wool when i actually needed it
