I am doing what i can to not use the slime finder tool. I like the element of surprise and actually makes the game more fun for me, which is what matters. While mining, i have found several slime balls randomly so i knew i was close to a slime spawn area. Then yesterday I found a small room with 3 small slimes in it (the kind that can't hurt you). My question is, since I found these randomly in a room, if I clear out a large space(about 20x30x3), should these technically keep spawning? My assumption is since they were in that room, that is a chunk that slimes spawn in so i am going to mine out a large area. Thanks!

I say go for it, I see no reason why not too

The slime balls are possibly from slimes suffocating in the rocks so make sure you take a layer out too.
