yea.we are trying to stay in the village area so he won't despawn same goes for a slime in my house.We used a mine cart to transport him after draining a area of water.

That's awesome. I had a hell of a time making an underwater tunnel as the squids kept getting sucked in the open end. Never thought to try and catch one.
