I have the summer of arcade skin pack but my friend doesn't.He said all that was on his dashboard was something about sponge-bob and another about chipmonks.He thinks its because he doesn't have a hard drive.He is american so any one else have this problem or a solution.

How in gods name can anyone use an Xbox without an HD these days?
Its crazy, tell him to buy one asap. for a start he wont be limited to lame memory cards and secondly he can install his games to the HD, installed games run better and save wear and tear on the DVD itself and the drive.

For one, it costs on average around $100 for a decent sized hard drive. That is a complete rip-off. You could get refurbished ones cheaper, but I don't think I would want to risk my data with a refurbished hard drive.
