why when i make a post is there always a empty bucket with a diamond? when others have waters and lava. can anyone tell me what this means? thanks

The diamond means its a post you are following/a post you recently replied to.

I think the lava and water comes with the number of posts in a thread. The lava is for "hot" threads.

It means that it's either your topic or it's a topic that you've posted in.

An empty bucket is a bucket you've read and there's no new posts in it.
A bucket of water means there's new posts in that thread you havent read.
A bucket of lava means there's new posts in a hot topic that you havent read. A hot topic being a popular thread with lots of posts in it.
The diamond next to the bucket means you've posted in that thread at some point.

The icons beside the post change as people reply to the post. There's a break down somewhere as to how many replies change the icon, but just look at posts and reply numbers and you will get the idea
