A hidden door rigged up to a single torch is fairly easy to do, make it so the torch is placed high up on the wall powering the block above it, on that block have a repeater going to a hidden door device(tuts for 2x2 flush hidden doors are everywhere), If you wanted you could extend repeaters to get the desired time to make it through the door.
I made something similar except had the block i attached the torch to was on a sticky piston, on the inside of my door i had a separate button that moved the piston knocking the torch off the wall into lava pool below. Yes it waited redstone torches but i had a lot of them.

he he no worries, my current slime farm is growing slowly but its errm maybe a little over the top only around 80 by 48
