I'm about to make a slime farm and I just want to know if slimes can spawn on peaceful. I heard from a few people that slimes can indeed spawn on peaceful, but I am not to sure. So can anybody help me with this?

They do NOT spawn on Peaceful.

Sorry, but you're wrong. Slimes do spawn on peaceful but only if you're playing at least on easy, save the game while slimes are around, and reload the world on peaceful. Slimes that were there when playing on easy or harder are still around, and new ones will spawn.

And before you say I'm wrong, try it. I just did in order to be 100% certain.

You are wrong actually, they dont spawn on peaceful. You saying "only if playing on easy" meaning they have to spawn on a difficulty other than peaceful first. They dont spawn in peaceful they just dont despawn when switching difficulties like other mobs do.

OK, then please explain why there was only one 2x2 slime around when I saved the game on easy, quit, reloaded on peaceful, killed that slime, and more kept spawning. And I don't mean the 2x2 slime splitting into smaller ones.

I don't think 4J is lying (smart a&& / *****) but there are plenty of glitches in games that, yes even the developers don't know will happen. Before you insist that I too am lying know I am not a child looking for "minecraft cred" I couldn't care less about. I just experienced what the other guy did and though you were a smart a&& ***** that needed to be called out....

not sure what a smart a&& ***** is, but dude is right. Nothing spawns on peaceful. The other slimes you guys are experiencing are slimes you must not have seen before you switched difficulties. That's all.

Thank you for informing me that they spawn on Easy and remain there on Peaceful. This totally means that they spawn on Peaceful.
