I need a fair bit of black wool for the next build, so I decided to make a squid farm.

If your looking to get a consistent amount of ink sacs conveniently, looking for tips or some basic ideas here's a video.
Squids swim to the lowest point they can get to.
Avoid long canals, squid swim erratic and will frequently stop. Establish a kill zone close to a large spawn area and shape the spawn area so that each step down leads to your kill zone.
I collected 9 stacks easily just making the trap.
Every time I come back after doing something, there's 8 squid waiting to get crushed.

Yeah, it is a neat and often ignored farming project.
Initially, I just wanted ink. Now I've been building a underground farming area around this.
Used up my wool supply for the other build. ACK! But, my farming area is almost complete.
