so what if its 3M sale? Whats gonno happen after we all get disappointed with the updates? who will buy DLC's How will 4j or who ever made the game make money? Exactly bruh
Why would we get disappointed in updates? Anyone who wants the features in DLC's will buy them. 4J and whoever are already making money because of the sales. Exactly bro, not bruh. That's not even a word.

I don't know what you guys are saying about needing a gaming computer to play minecraft, i just had to get rid of some old things i didn't need and now the game runs smoothly on my 2 year old laptop, texture packs and mods and all
i hate posts like this .. the game hasn't even been out 6 months and someone's whining about the future and oh no it's gonna die blah blah blah..
you know the game compared to a pc version is gonna be less .. it'sw like this for all games their better and bigger on pc's .. if consoles were upgradable that would be awsome and expensive and we would pay tons for it and be happy but their outdated and crappy compared to any gaming pc bought within last 3 years ..
you have pc version and you have Xbox .. how about you play both and just be content that they are planning to add same features at pc in future and a they are actually goring to make us a more up-to date version of the game .. at least have some damn patience .. all good things come in time and considering this even on the xbox is still a stupidly good game it's only gonna get better.. so just chill and await more awesomeness from the devs
Im sure the future of the 360 version will be very good in the future ,ok for now we are a bit limited but lets give the game some time and we will all be happy im sure :-)
Why would we be disappointed with the updates? We'll be nearly up to date with the PC in only two more updates, and 4J has stated that they will do as much as they can about the world size (whether that means they will find a way or not has yet to be seen). I think you should do some more research before you damn the Xbox version to hell.
i personally bought minecraft xbox edition after watching videos online of people playing the pc version....bit of noob mistake because i am now disapointed!! i've had the game a few days and have done everything the game can offer.
I was thinking this way as well (land seems small, none of the adventure features yet) until I found yet another vast (VAST) dungeon on my world that stretches a good quarter of the way across the map. It's going to take me weeks to map this thing out (not to mention mine the resources). Now I'm all jazzed again. Things will only get better as they add the 1.8 content (though I WILL still miss my extreme Forest mountain biome - but that's another thread ). I sometimes wonder if the people expressing ambivalance with MCXBLA aren't the peaceful-mode, builder-crew. If that's your preferred mode, I can understand how MCXBLA would get stale quickly as compared to the PC. For survival-mode players, I think there is enough re-play value there to keep going strong for a good while. Plus, there's playing wiht friends

i think more enphasis is needed on this version, to simply bring it up to speed!! i dont mind it being an exact copy of the pc version....that seems great!!!
UberHaxorNova got me addicted to Minecraft, looked pretty cool so I got Minecraft and I don't regret it a little(little part meaning I have nothing else to do in my world).

I never said anything about needing a gaming computer, but 1. my laptop is 5 years old, and 2. I am not a PC gamer. I would much rather play on the Xbox 360.
He's just misinformed, but still correct. I do believe he thinks we'll be getting each update after 1.8 instead of just jumping to 1.2.3 (I could be wrong)
We'll have 1.8.2 and then 1.2.3 then we'll another update I think to completely catch up to the PC version. That's not counting the probably bug fix updates we'll have in between each update.

That is assuming there isn't another PC update in the meantime. We need 1.8.2, 1.2.3, whatever the next update is(be it 1.2.5 or skip straight to 1.3), plus bug fix updates. That could take a lot of time.
I'm in. I have all but forgotten about playing on the computer since I got the 360 version. I would be surprised if I ever go back to play on the computer.
Good things are coming and consol gaming is so much more fun.

That's what I meant by "another update to completely catch up with the PC" Sorry, word choice was misleading.
I think it a great version of minecraft i have a lot of fun with it.
Trust me, you are MORE than 2 updates away...
