So anyone else notice the odd machine/automatronic/copy machine sound that is made when you take fall damage? I started using my Turtle Beaches on Minecraft today and just noticed.. What is it? Anything in particular?

A friend and I were exploring new maps to try to make a LoZ:OoT recreation. Upon exploring I took fall damage and noticed the sound. So I reenacted the jump and heard the sound again. I then comment to my friend about it and continue exploring when I get interrupted not 10 seconds later. Apparently I got stuck in a block while running (??) and started taking damage from nowhere while being stuck in one spot. The sound was there for every half heart I lost, like a copying machine going crazy.

Oh yeah. it actually does. I don't have Turtle Beaches so I don't get to hear what OP hears but it is pretty interesting

No, it's literally only when one takes fall damage. You can hear it when you're near someone else who takes fall damage as well.

I've noticed something like that. It just sounds like they used really poor quality sound files.

I just realized it actually makes this sound when you or another player take any kind of damage.

I have Turtle Beaches and have never heard anything like that. when someone takes damage in my game, I hear the regular "Umph" noise.

I heard it is a strange sound

The PC hurt.ogg is the same, it's background noise from the recording of the "Uoh!"
