I believe that players on the 360 should be given a classic mode( after adventure update ) to play in so they don't have to deal with the hunger bar but still have to work to get stuff( kinda like right now ).

"The struggle of survival is a war without end, and war – war never changes." -Ron Perlman in Fallout.
I think people hate it because they see it as a chore for some reason. It's extremely easy to get to a point where you never have to worry about it running out.
I love the hunger bar because it adds another layer to the game. It makes you think twice about entering caves if you don't have enough food and PVP becomes much more dangerous with the hunger bar because of the lack of instant healing food.
That doesn't confirm that the hunger bar will be optional or that it will be able to be toggled. It jsut means 4J is thinking about making certain things switchable. We don't even know if they're considering that option for the hunger bar or not.

IKR the hungar bar is like the best thing EVAR!!!!!
I love the hunger bar. If it IS toggle-able, it needs to be toggle-able before the world loads up, just like "Open to friends" and "Invite Only" and so on.
And if they want to play survival without hunger how does that help ?
That isn't a definite yes or no, bu ti t does lean towards something like the hunger bar might be able to be turned on and off.
