i'm not sure if a topic like this has already been created, if so my bad.
anyway, apparently the xbox 360 version of minecraft is going to have special content.
what would you like to see added?
personally, i wouldn't mind having like a little backpack that your character can wear. you can craft it from leather and it expands the amount of items you can carry in your inventory. (i'm always cleaning stuff out when i go mining)
there is a mod for that on pc xD but yea having that on xbox would be very helpful
New ores: More ores (silver, copper) to make proper coinage. Craftable working large gates (for those that like making castles). Proper working drawbridges. Blocks that can be made to work like a lift does. Slate tiles. Light tiles - These would be similair in glow properties to glowstone blocks but be the same thickness as the pressure plates and can be stuck to the side, top and bottom of a block.

Oh and something I've already posted about. An option in the load menu when setting up a new world would be to have a seed based around one or more biomes, so if you want a snow based biome then you select that and the game creates either a random or user entered seed based around the chosen biome type. If more than one biome type is selected then the new world would be generated around those chosen biome types.
I don't think that's possible with the current world generator. Though I like your idea for more ores and gates.

Nah. What I meant was the options added when, and if, the Anvil map file format was included. I mean the current pc version auto-converts any previously version maps to the new format. Perhaps the xbox version will have the same feature.

i never need to store iron gold lapiz lazuli if i spelled that right.....or diamonds but i do need to store all my red stone so it would be nice to make 9 red stone in to a red stone block for storage it would turn the small chest full of red stone dust into 3 red stone stacks and it should look like lapiz lazuli blocks with the same diagonal pattern only red it would look amazing for decoration
I think there should be a new portal that brings you back to your spawn point it would get destroyed upon use and be smaller say like 6 blocks just big enough to walk through
As for material it could be made from cobblestone it could be used to get out of a giant cave you got lost in or anything else you might need an escape portal for personally I have had to watch my younger brother dig his way out of caves too many times especially on the world that spawned for him it has the the most collassal labyrinth caves it is insane and so far it has had 9-10 dungeons and counting
Well wh all want is 1.8-1.3 and fast. Also texture packs and mods from the PC version. But CTF will be added and I hope for some special items or blocks.
They should also add specail gems that can be placed in sockets in ur armor and weapons to give it special abilities and effects like Tron effects and glowing so you dont have to use torches but for every good effect theres a downside to it of course. And it would be cool if we can place our armour and weapons on stands to show it off.

yes, a larger map is at the top of my want list also. i don't see how they would cram everything into the map size we have now. all of the biomes and mineshafts, strongholds, etc.
EXACTLY.... there should be a larger map so that you can zoom into villages instead of like trying to squint for little brown dots on the map

boots and helmets: a couple of people mentioned scube gear and no fall damage. there are enchantments now that make helmets scuba gear allowing you to stay submerged much longer and there is a featherweight enchantment for boots that gives extremely little or no fall damage.
I don't mind the skin packs, But being able to make your own skins would be a hell of a lot better.

In otherwords, you could then 'glue' two blocks together that could be 'pulled' by a sticky piston.
