All I have to say is who cares. Seriously. They WILL add the creative mode feature, but wether they make it so you can switch from creative to survival, and vis versa, opptionaly is their choice. What you decide to do with it is your choice. If someone realy feels the need to cheat to diamond armor and tools just because and have everything in their world they cound posibly want, then whats the point of playing the survival game? Why dont they just play the game in creative if they can get all the resources they want? I dont have an answer to that, and I also dont care. All I know is that I am no cheater, and I will play the game legit unless needed or I am strictly building a custom map, as I said before. All you need to know is what you would do if they added the feature, and not worry about anyone elses opinion.I hope that ended the discusion.
So you are making assumptions about people getting bored. I guess you are right, I mean ever since the PC version has allowed cheats the player base has dropped of to next to nothing, hasn't it. Because they are contractually obligated? All I am saying is every argument you have against adding is is just an assumption. You have no proof. The closest thing we can compare it to is the PC version, and that version is still going strong, even with these "cheats" implemented. And 4 pages later, the only thing I really have left to say about it, is that it is pointless to argue about something when we have no idea what 4J is actually planning. No point in fighting over something that doesn't exist yet.
every game has a way it's meant to be played, yes minecraft is a sandbox, do whatever you want game, but it has rules. in survival, you're not supposed to get all the resources you need in 2 minutes because that isn't how it's meant to be played, ithat's how creative is meant to be played

You know that program, MCEdit for PC Minecraft? The one where you can easily build big huge custom survival maps that other people come in and play in survival mode on? Building a map in creative and then using it as a survival map is the Xbox-players alternative to MCEdit.

it's not, or shouldn't be, that WE care about how people play their game, but the developers. Adding the option to switch betwen the two modes in 1 game would be very similar to having 2 creative modes. People will get bored because they'll have everything they need at their finger tips, and you can be sure people will use it because simply because it's there and when they do, the purpose of survival is lost (reason why it's labled cheating on PC). Basically, the player is much more likely to get bored much faster with the game and stop playing.
also, keep in mind, this option on PC isn't even actually this option, this is just part of "allowing cheats." It unlocks single player commands.

My question is why do people care so much about what other people do in their worlds? Does it effect you personally? Does it change the fact that you will still enjoy mining and chopping and digging and smelting all your building materials to make your world? If they do add the feature...then don't use it. There I solved your problem. Though for the hunger bar issue if they made it a different setting (like hardcore mode in New Vegas) that would make everyone happy.

If **** starts getting changed then MC on 360 will be a completely different game from MC on PC and some people(myself included) don't want that to happen.
