4J can't just convert existing PC mods- without getting the original owner to sign a release/contract and providing compensation. IF they add them, they will write their own. Even then you can bet on two things: 1) they won't let you cheat (like most mods do now) and 2) they won't be a measly 160 MSP!
I also said that since they'll write their own, I wouldn't be surprised if they combine the best concepts of 2-3 mods, add some of their own, then release it as one big mod (for many MS points).
In a tweet, 4JStudios said "We will be adding new content to the Xbox version later. Maybe we should look at the mods people like for inspiration there ;)"
Why would 4J go to the trouble of getting the owner of _____ mod to sign a (very binding) contract, and give them compensation ($$$) when 4J could just write their own in-house mods? Look at the above quote: "Maybe we should look at the mods people like for inspiration there ;)"
(Note I said "could", which doesn't mean they "will". What they've said all along is: "We'll look into it, after we finish with the updates."..... which is developer speak for "after many more months")
I know it's fun wishing and imagining the xbox version with your favorite PC mods, but it ain't happening. IF there's mods at all, they'll be original, brand new mods, different than the current PC ones. The same applies to texture packs. Now those they can come up with, but they'll be original ones, and several months away.
Who knows, they might even be better! Won't that chap the PC lovers!
