This was not performed by me, but rather by a friend. They were doing the duping glitch (Yes, I know some of you just stopped reading right there) and it apparently has some pretty bad glitches. Here's some pictures.
Upon further researching the exact reason for this bug, it only occurs when these steps are followed.
1: Start a map on the 1.7.3 update, and make shears and put them into a chest.
2: Delete the Cache of your hard drive.
3: Stay disconnected from Xbox Live.
4: Start the map with the shears in the chest.
5: Bam, find cows, and look at your character with his cape.
This thread is great for those who say that duping has no ill affects. Sure these may not be game breaking, but it does show that it appears duping can lead to other glitches.
Also, I see capes coming as DLC because Microsoft is a damn good business.
Oh God. Missing No. glitch. Worst nightmare for all Pokemon trainers trying to cheat the game for a Mew.
Seriously though, those glitched-out graphics are probably making the system scream in agony. But capes...I like this newfound idea of capes. Who would've thought the results of a bad glitch could actually signal some perpetual evidence of a character add-on?

My whole reason for posting this, was to show the possibility of capes. :3
This reminds me of The Matrix... You are the chosen one.
One question. Can we get pics of the cow spawn from another angle and a bit father away?
Unfortunately these were sent to me by a friend through cell phone picture. Otherwise I would do it myself. I'll go into their world and see if we can replicate this.

Ok. Just don't kill your Xbox for some stranger on the internet
Are YOU stupid? Didn't see the obvious sarcasm in there? All he was saying was that microsoft will find a way to rape you for that cape.
$20 for a cape? Even Microsoft wouldn't charge that much for such little thing as a freakin' cape! P.s. putting a ... would make it easier for people to know it was sarcasm...

$20 for a cape? Sounds fair enough. Actually why not make it $50 just to show how much you really care?
OP has been updated with info for how this occurs, and a video has been added.
Thanks for a better look. At first I thought you meant that it shows where the cows spawn. This was interesting to me because it would mean Xbox spawning is different from PC. After watching the video, however, it is clear this is not the case. Thanks for taking the time to post more info on the glitch and also for showing how to replicate. This should be posted in the bug thread also for an even better chance for it to be noticed by the devs.

Who would pay $20 for a cape on a video game?
O you'd be surprised...
